About the company

Our client is a cybersecurity company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build the top of the sales funnel by researching prospective enterprise buyers, reaching out to them, and securing qualified meetings for account executives and company leadership. Success is measured by meetings booked, and the role suits a self-directed prospector who keeps going through frequent turn-downs.

What you'll do

  • Secure as many qualified enterprise meetings as possible for account executives and the founder.
  • Develop new prospecting territories across additional industry verticals.
  • Choose and test your own outreach methods, beginning with phone calls and professional networking messages.
  • Collaborate with an experienced, high-performing business development colleague.

What we're looking for

  • Exceptional work ethic and drive.
  • Resilience when facing frequent turn-downs and sustained, high-volume outreach.
  • Self-directed, measured by results rather than activity.
  • Any educational or industry background is welcome, including recent graduates.
  • Some analytical ability is helpful.

Bonus points

  • Earlier experience in prospecting roles, with a record of steady, demanding sales work.
  • About a year of experience in a business development representative role.
  • Experience selling to senior decision-makers in regulated industries.

Location and work model

  • San Francisco, California, United States
  • On-site, in office
  • Full-time

Compensation, as the posting describes it

  • Variable bonus tied to meetings booked and company growth
