The role

The work blends practical lab skill with light programming and troubleshooting to get new methods production-ready.

What you'll do

  • Apply AI-assisted coding and established automation frameworks to program liquid handling robots for new methods.

  • Design and print simple custom fixtures and accessories for the robotic equipment.

  • Around two years of practical bench experience in a research associate capacity, in an academic or industry setting.
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology methods.
  • Hands-on experience operating automated liquid handling equipment.
  • Scripting ability in Python, for example for analyzing results or driving laboratory instruments.
  • A bachelor's degree in a life science or bioengineering discipline.
  • Availability to work fully on-site, five days a week.

Bonus points

  • Prior research associate experience at a biotech company.
  • Familiarity with basic CAD and 3D printing.

Benefits
