About the company

Our client is a law firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Take charge of a docket of claimant-side injury matters, guiding each one from the first client meeting to resolution. The work combines fact-finding, case valuation, settlement discussions and attentive client service, supported by a team of legal staff.

What you'll do

  • Carry a full docket of injury claims for individual claimants, from opening through resolution.
  • Investigate the facts, review medical documentation and build an approach that supports the strongest possible outcome.
  • Hold settlement discussions with insurers and the other side's lawyers to pursue fair results.
  • Keep clients informed with warm, clear updates and realistic expectations at every stage.
  • Partner with paralegals, case coordinators and lien specialists to keep matters moving.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years representing injured individuals, rather than defendants, in personal injury work.
  • Active license in good standing and admission to the Illinois bar.
  • Experience managing a large volume of cases at once.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate resolutions and assess what a claim is worth.
  • Solid working knowledge of Illinois personal injury law and procedure.
  • A steady employment record with reasonable time spent in each position.
  • Willingness to work from the office five days a week.

Bonus points

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

Location and work model

  • Chicago, Illinois, United States
  • On-site, 5 days per week in the office
  • Full-time
