About the company

Our client is a law firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Handle complex shareholder-side litigation from filing through resolution, partnering closely with senior attorneys on strategy. The position centers on persuasive written advocacy, original legal thinking and ongoing research. It is a growth position on an established litigation team.

What you'll do

  • Manage class action cases through every stage, from the initial complaint to final resolution.
  • Prepare briefs, motions and other written legal arguments.
  • Craft inventive legal theories to move cases forward against well-resourced opposing counsel.
  • Contribute to case strategy as an engaged member of the team alongside partners.
  • Track new developments in case law and apply them to live matters.

What we're looking for

  • 3 to 4+ years of litigation experience in the securities field, gained at a large defense practice or a leading plaintiff practice.
  • A track record of taking cases through pleadings, discovery, motion practice and trial.
  • Hands-on class action experience rather than only broad commercial disputes.
  • Outstanding brief writing, which is essential for this role.
  • Sharp analytical judgment and dependable research skills in securities law.
  • An inventive mindset that surfaces new arguments and overlooked issues.
  • JD from a reputable law school.
  • Real enthusiasm for representing investors rather than corporate defendants.
  • Based in San Francisco or Boston and able to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Bonus points

  • Defense-side attorneys interested in moving to the plaintiff side.
  • Familiarity with AI research tools and platforms.
  • JD from a top-tier law school.

Location and work model

  • San Francisco, CA or Boston, MA, United States
  • Hybrid: 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
  • Full-time
