DeepInfra's new CFO brings a background in financing digital infrastructure. Its current careers board adds a practical hiring signal: three finance roles with published pay ranges and a stated office location.
On September 24, 2026, DeepInfra appointed Slava Brin as chief financial officer, overseeing financial operations and capital strategy. Brin joins from Lazard, where he was a managing director in the Telecom and Digital Infrastructure group. He previously led Communications and Internet Infrastructure M&A at Truist Securities.
DeepInfra's careers board, reviewed September 25, listed 17 openings. Eight were in engineering, three in finance, three in marketing, two in sales and one in customer support. The board covered Palo Alto, Sofia and remote roles listed for Europe. That is a snapshot of current advertisements, not a company headcount target.
All three finance roles are full-time and in office in Palo Alto. Director, FP&A and Corporate Controller each list annual base pay of $200,000 to $290,000. Billing & Payments Manager lists $150,000 to $180,000. The postings first appeared between late September 23 and early September 24 in UTC. They do not establish that the roles report directly to Brin or were created because of his appointment.
The company also says it recently opened its first international data center in Toronto. For a finance candidate, the useful question is how infrastructure growth translates into the work: capacity purchases, forecasting, customer billing, controls and the decisions shared with engineering.
I would ask who owns each of those decisions, which systems are already in place, and what the hire should improve in the first year. The public listings already answer several basic questions about function, location and pay. Clear reporting lines and a concrete mandate are the next things a candidate needs.
