Funding announcements are most useful when they tell you what a company intends to do next. Ema's is unusually direct: build out go-to-market while continuing to invest in the product.
Ema announced the round on September 23, 2026. A company-issued release says Creaegis led the $77 million Series B, with Accel, S32 and Prosus increasing their investments. It puts Ema's total funding at $140 million and says the company will scale its go-to-market organization while continuing platform investment. TechCrunch's report adds that the round was entirely primary equity, with no debt or secondary transaction, and describes a company of nearly 200 people.
Ema's Ashby board showed 41 postings when reviewed on September 23. They covered sales, partnerships, revenue operations, customer engagement, product, machine learning, infrastructure and solutions architecture across the United States, the United Kingdom, India and Vancouver. The board does not specify how many of these roles are new positions or replacements.
One listing shows why candidates should check the detail rather than assume a global band. Ema's Software Engineer, Machine Learning role is full-time and based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The posting gives California candidates a $160,000 to $220,000 annual base range. It says the offer depends on location, level, knowledge, skills and experience, and that some roles may also include variable compensation, equity and benefits. The listing does not label the workplace arrangement as remote, hybrid or on-site.
Ema has stated a go-to-market priority, and its board shows active hiring across commercial, customer-facing and technical work. If you're considering a role, ask which openings are priorities for the next two quarters, which are net new, and how cash, variable pay and equity change by location. Those answers matter more than the round size on its own.
