HIFI has named the functions it plans to hire for, but its linked public jobs page currently has no postings. That distinction matters when you read a funding announcement as a reason to apply.

On September 24, 2026, HIFI announced a $37 million Series A led by Left Lane Capital. Matt Miller joined the board as part of the round. HIFI describes the financing as support for additional regulatory licenses, team growth in New York and a small number of international markets, and product expansion from payments into cards and capital markets.

The founder's announcement explicitly names hiring across engineering, compliance and go-to-market. Those functions give candidates a clearer direction than the funding amount alone. They do not yet provide a headcount target, a timetable or a list of approved roles.

HIFI's careers page, reviewed September 25, names functions including engineering, compliance, finance, partnerships, people and marketing. Its open-roles link leads to HIFI's LinkedIn jobs page, which showed no jobs posted. There were no individual titles or salary bands to compare. That does not rule out recruiting through referrals or other channels; it means the public evidence currently supports a stated hiring plan, rather than a set of advertised openings.

If you are interested in HIFI, watch for the first role descriptions and ask what each hire is meant to unlock. Is an engineer building payment infrastructure, card products or controls for tokenized assets? Is a compliance role tied to a specific license or market? Is a commercial hire selling an established product or helping introduce something new?

For a founder, announcing the functions is a useful start. Publishing the scope, location, compensation and interview process is what turns that announcement into a decision a candidate can make. I would want those details before treating the financing as a reason to enter a hiring process.
