Hubble Network's careers board has 15 postings, but one is a general application. The useful count is 14 named roles, and the compensation details show why engineering salary and sales commission need separate comparisons.
On September 23, Hubble announced a $200 million Series C led by Smith Point Capital. The company reports a $1.6 billion valuation and $300 million in total funding. It says the round will help build out its satellite network. Those are company claims and plans. They do not establish that the round created each opening on the current board.
Hubble's careers board listed 15 postings on September 28: 14 named roles and one Hubble Network General Application. The named work spans RF hardware, wireless and digital design, embedded space systems, data infrastructure, operations, sales engineering, account sales, and enterprise sales leadership. Core RF, wireless, and space systems engineering roles are in Seattle, while Data Platform Engineer and VP of Enterprise Sales are in San Francisco.
The postings use different compensation labels. Data Platform Engineer lists a salary of $153,000 to $250,000. Senior Wireless Systems Engineer, R&D lists $128,000 to $286,000 per year, while Senior Antenna and RF Hardware Engineer lists a salary of $101,000 to $177,000. The Senior Account Executive page combines salary and commission in a $110,000 to $184,000 range with a 50/50 base and commission split. It does not publish separate dollar figures for each part.
Candidates should ask for the actual base amount, target commission, quota, and payout mechanics before comparing that sales role with an engineering salary. Founders should be equally precise when publishing mixed cash compensation. Hubble's board shows why: a single range can look clear while still leaving the most important comparison unanswered.
