Noetive launched with a large seed round and a narrow public hiring list. The useful part is seeing where the announcement and the current openings overlap.

On September 16, Noetive announced that it had emerged from stealth with $41 million in seed funding led by Eclipse. Craft Ventures, The Westly Group, Swish Ventures, Factory, Incite Ventures, Gigascale Capital, Operator Partners, and Liquid 2 Ventures also participated.

Noetive describes itself as an applied AI research lab for physical operations. The company says its system combines self-improving AI with sensing hardware and works with design partners in areas including manufacturing, logistics, energy, and data centers. These are Noetive's descriptions of its product and current work.

The release says the funding will support research and field testing, and that Noetive is growing its research and engineering team. It specifically names AI researchers and full-stack AI engineers as hiring priorities.

Three openings today

Noetive's team page listed three U.S. remote openings when reviewed on September 22: AI Research Scientist, AI Native Full Stack Engineer, and AI Native Product Manager. The research role covers post-training, reasoning, agent behavior, and evaluation. The engineering role covers agent workflows, model-backed services, evaluation systems, and product interfaces. The product role connects research capabilities with customer problems and product requirements. No compensation ranges were published on that page.

For candidates, remote does not answer how often the work enters a factory, job site, or other physical operation. I would ask how much travel is expected, which deployments are active, what data the sensing hardware collects, and how product decisions are shared with design partners.

For founders building around physical operations, be precise about the boundary between research and deployment. Candidates need to know whether they are proving a model, shipping a product, or owning both.
