Numeral gives candidates something useful alongside its latest funding announcement: enough compensation and workplace detail to decide whether an interview is worth pursuing. The important part is reading the label beside each pay range.
Numeral announced a $100 million Series C on September 23, 2026. Insight Partners led the round, bringing the company's stated total funding to $157 million. Numeral says the money will support product development, expansion into more industries, and growth across engineering, sales, marketing and product.
Numeral's public job board showed 25 openings on September 24. Some publish annual salary ranges; others publish on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes variable compensation. Those numbers should not be compared as if they were the same kind of offer.
The Software Engineer, AI opening in New York lists a $175,000 to $300,000 annual salary range plus equity. It also specifies three days a week in the New York City office. That gives a candidate concrete information about cash, commute and flexibility before the first conversation.
The Enterprise Account Executive range is $240,000 to $280,000 OTE plus equity, not base salary. Its metadata labels the role San Francisco HQ and Hybrid, while the description allows either three days a week in the San Francisco office or remote work. Candidates should confirm which arrangement applies to them, alongside the base and variable split, quota, ramp period and attainment history.
The Forward Deployed Engineer opening is a full-time remote U.S. role without a published compensation band. The board also does not establish which jobs were created by this round or which are replacements.
For candidates, separate base salary, variable pay, equity and workplace terms before comparing opportunities. For founders, the useful lesson is that publishing a number is only the start. A clear label and a consistent explanation of where the person works make that information much more valuable.
